The style epoch of Mannerism described the form of transition between Renaissance and Baroque. The main motives of Mannerism is the interest in the strangest and super-realistic, the tendency to stylize and misshaping abstraction as well as to take delight in self-enjoyment, esoteric, the monstrous and the grotesque.
